Santa Maria Novella Station is just over 1 km from Oltrarno 1881 Apartments. Piazza de’ Nerli can be reached by taxi or on foot (about 15 minutes). Bus lines 6 and 11 departing from the station can take you about 300 meters from Piazza de’ Nerli, but no bus lines stop at the piazza.

Amerigo Vespucci Airport is about 6 km from Oltrarno 1881 Apartments. Tram line 2 connects it with Santa Maria Novella Station, from which you can reach Oltrarno by taxi or bus. The trip takes approximately 30-40 minutes.
From the airports of Pisa and Bologna you can take the train to Santa Maria Novella Station.

Oltrarno 1881 Apartments can be reached from Grand Hotel Baglioni by taxi or on foot (about 15 minutes). There are several bus lines departing from the train station (lines 6 and 11) or Piazza Santa Maria Novella (lines 11, 36 and 37) and stopping near Piazza de’ Nerli, but none reach it directly.
In Florence the entire old city center is a traffic-restricted zone (ZTL) with special rules for entry and parking. The area is accessible from a number of electronic gates with automatic license plate detection. Piazza de’ Nerli is located just outside zone O and can be easily reached by car.
However, it is important to know when the ZTL is active. In zone O it's active all year round from Monday to Friday from 7.30 am to 8 pm and on Saturdays from 7.30 am to 4 pm. There is also a summer night ZTL active from the first Thursday of April to the first Sunday of October, Monday-Wednesday from 7.30 am to 8 pm; Thursday from 7.30 am to 3 am on Friday; Friday from 7.30 am to 3 am on Saturday; Saturday from 7.30 am to 4 pm and from 11 pm to 3 am on Sunday.
The ZTL is accessible from a number of gates marked by special signs and equipped with automatic license plate detection.
