Christmas is coming and Florence is getting ready for the most beloved holiday!

From 20 November to 19 December, the twentieth edition of the Weihnachtsmarkt will be held in Piazza Santa Croce. In this German-style Christmas market you can buy quality artisanal and food and wine products from all over Europe; in front of the basilica of Santa Croce, moreover, there will be the House of Santa Claus. The Weihnachtsmarkt will be open every day from 10 am to 10 pm.

Two Christmas markets will be organized in Oltrarno, too. On 8 December piazza Santo Spirito will host the Fierucola dell'Immacolata, dedicated to local and rural handicraft products, while on 19 December the Fierucolina di Natale will be held in piazza del Carmine. Both fairs will be open from 9 am to 7 pm.
