An autumn between art and culture

Shine, inaugurated on 2nd October at Palazzo Strozzi, celebrates the career of Jeff Koons, one of the leading contemporary artists. The exhibition is open every day until 30th January, from 10 am to 8 pm (Thursdays until 11 pm). Full ticket € 15, reduced € 12.

 

Inside Salvador Dalí at the Church of Santo Stefano al Ponte is an innovative multimedia exhibition that allows visitors to "enter" the works of the famous Catalan artist. The exhibition will be open until 16th January from Monday to Thursday from 10 to 18; Friday and Saturday from 10 to 20; Sunday from 10 to 19. Full ticket € 13, reduced € 10.

 

2021 is the 700th anniversary of Dante's death. The Basilica of Santa Croce hosts until 10th January an interactive exhibition by Felice Limosani entitled Dante. Il Poeta eterno, through which visitors are transported inside the original images of Gustave Dorè with the fascinating background of choral music. The exhibition can be visited during the opening hours of the Basilica by purchasing the normal entrance ticket.

 

Finally, Lego lovers cannot absolutely miss I LOVE LEGO, a spectacular exhibition of dioramas made with the famous colored bricks. It is held at the Museo degli Innocenti and is open from Monday to Sunday from 11 to 18 (except Tuesdays). Full ticket € 13, reduced € 11.
